Heroes (2020)
The Refornment Movement of 1898 resulted in the "Six Heroes" dying. Huo Yuan Jia, who was filled with patriotic enthusiasm, had been eager to participate; however, he fell into the enemy's trap and could only watch as the heroes of the country died. Not long after, China was invaded by the enemy. A year later, Huo Yuan Jia who was now living in ChangZhou took a stroll along the mountainside. Discouraged by his past and in fear of falling into the enemy's trap again, he decided to move to Shanghai. Huo Yuan Jia's following a reputation grew quickly. The Japanese (who had invaded China) grew worried and began to provoke Huo Yuan Jia. Huo Yuan Jia fearlessly charged into battle and finally defeated the enemy with his courageous actions.

It includes a subplot based on the story of Chen Zhen, a fictional student of Huo Yuanjia and the protagonist of the 1972 film Fist of Fury. The series was directed by Jia Yun and starred Vincent Zhao, Wu Yue, Mei Ting, Qi Yan, and He Yin in the lead roles. A sequel, Jingwu Yingxiong Chen Zhen, was released later in the same year.

Hero of Jingwu: Chen Zhen (2000)
Following the 1911 Xinhai Revolution that overthrew the Qing dynasty, China entered a period of turmoil, with drastic political changes and the start of the Warlord Era. Chen Zhen has been hiding in Foshan until he receives a message and decides to return to Shanghai. Upon his return, Chen sees that a brothel now stands on the old location of Jingwu School. Apart from having to shoulder the heavy responsibilities of rebuilding Jingwu and raising Huo Yuan Jia's orphaned son, Huo Dong Jue, Chen runs into trouble with the gangs and has to hide from the police.
