96 Minutes (2025)

Former bomb disposal expert, Song Kang-Ren, and his fiancée, Huang Xin, board a high-speed train that contains a bomb. At the same time, Liu Kai, a well-known physics teacher who was involved in an affair scandal, also boards this same train in order to win back his wife, Ting Juan, who took the prior high-speed rail to return home in frustration… After all, can the bomb be successfully defused this time? and resolve the crisis?

Hollywood Tech in Taiwan: To create realistic scenes, the production team constructed a life-sized high-speed rail carriage sound stage, utilizing virtual production technology imported from Hollywood, costing over $3 million.
Festival Opener: '96 Minutes' had the honor of opening the Taipei Film Festival in June 2025. It also competed in Korea's Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Tough Fight: Austin Lin, who plays the lead role, described his three-minute fight scene as the most challenging action sequence he's ever experienced, requiring three months of training to learn the choreography.
Director's Dedication: Director Hung Tzu-Hsuan spent eight years developing the script for '96 Minutes'. Before directing this film, Hung directed 'The Scoundrels' in 2018, which won Best Action Choreography at the Golden Horse Awards.
Heavy Burden: Austin Lin felt isolated while wearing the bomb detonation suit and had to be assisted by two or three staff members each time. The helmet was especially heavy, and he also had to carry bomb detonation tools, which slowed down his movements.
