Kolya At Home Alone (1957)

Milkmaid Mikheeva, having gone to work, leaves her little son Kolya unattended. The boy finds matches and, playing with them, causes a fire in the house. The child is taken to the hospital with severe burns. The chairman of the collective farm, who has been repeatedly asked to arrange a nursery, begins to realize that he is the real culprit of the trouble.
