The story based on S. Venkatesan’s historical fiction novel ‘Veera Yuga Nayagan Velpari.’ The novel is based on the life of Vēl Pāri, a Velir ruler of Parambu Nadu during the Sangam period in ancient Tamilakam. It follows the events of his life and how the Chera, Chola, and Pandya empires attempted to overthrow the tribal king.
