In the summer of 2019, the Amazon burned, capturing global attention. Yet, deforestation continues at an alarming rate, fueling droughts and heat waves. By 2024, Bolivia faces record wildfires. This documentary explores indigenous communities surrounded by fires, volunteer firefighters, farmers who practice slash-and-burn farming, and the web of illegal land deals and political maneuvering driving the crisis.
