Singleton (1970)

Graduation film by Aleksandr Kibalnik, a student of the Kyiv State I. K. Karpenko-Kary Institute of Theater Arts. Based on Lesia Ukrainka’s unfinished novella. At the end of the 19th century, a Ukrainian boy, Petro, is torn from his home and beloved and conscripted into the Russian army.
