Filmed at The United Center, Chicago, IL September 20 & 21 Additional footage filmed at The Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, NY October 12 & 13. The foundation of all the footage (and audio) was taken from 9/20. Additional shots are from the 9/21, 10/12 and 10/13 shows and all are from tapehead2's HD master files. Filmed in front of a huge crowd at Germany's Rockpalast Festival, this 1981 Thin Lizzy performance is one of very few live DVD recordings out there that is an entire show. The band at the time consisted of Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, Brian Downey, Darren Wharton and Snowy White (guitars) who was brought in a year or so earlier to replace Gary Moore for the Chinatown album. Renegade had just been released and the band was in the midst of a world tour in support of the album.

“12-12-12” was a fundraising concert to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy, it took place on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden. The concert featured Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin (featuring Michael Stipe), The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who, Paul McCartney (featuring Nirvana) as well as other artists.

The DVD was filmed on 16th September 2011 in De Bosuil Club in Weert, Holland. During rehearsals on the previous day, all the musicians were interviewed for this DVD. The bonus interviews provide some very honest and candid insights.
