Something Better Change (2024)
These days, there’s a lot of talk about outsiders in politics, but very few people can claim outsider status like Joe Keithley, punk legend turned a dedicated environmentalist and city councilor. Something Better Change follows Keithley’s absolutely fascinating life and career, showing us both his time as the front man of the formative hardcore punk band D.O.A., as well as his campaigns for city council as a Green Party candidate in his hometown of Burnaby, British Columbia. Featuring interviews with other punk luminaries like Jello Biafra and Ian MacKaye, as well as an appearance from Beto O’Rourke, whether you’re a hardcore punk fan or just a civically engaged citizen, Creem: America's Only Rock 'n' Roll Magazine director Scott Crawford’s latest film has a little something for everyone. – Daniel Abelow

Taking Punk to the Masses: From Nowhere to Nevermind (2011)
Taking Punk to the Masses: From Nowhere to Nevermind visually documents the explosion of Grunge, the Seattle Sound, within the context of the underground punk subculture that was developing throughout the U.S. in the late 1970s and 1980s. This decade-and-a-half musical journey will be represented entirely through the lens of EMP’s oral history and permanent object collection, an invaluable and rich cultural archive of over 800 interviews and 140,000 objects - instruments, costumes, posters, records and other ephemera dedicated to the pursuit of rock n roll.

Rumah Api. Story Of (2019)
Rumah Api is an alternative space in Kuala Lumpur, which is dedicated to spreading the DIY punk ethos of non-conformity and counterculture in its area. It exists by putting into practice the broader societal values of self-organization, solidarity and people working together to build stronger communities. Unfortunately, despite their long and exhausting struggles, the house was eventually demolished due to controversial SUKE highway construction. It took 2 years for me to finished this short documentary project. Intentionally make it a short one and raw. I don't want to make it long and show a typical squat video of gig and stuff. Let other team and people make a long one. But I do hope you enjoy this video.
