Time has come for young and handsome King Benjamin to find a wife. Sebastian, Chief Archer in the Roman Army, converts to Christianity. A favorite of Emperor Augustus, Sebastian's devotion to Christ eventually drives him to reject the Emperor's love, causing the Emperor to angrily order Sebastian to be shot with arrows by his fellow archers. The year 1968 came and went, and the world—at least for us—began to change dramatically. Few people expected the change to be so great and so bad. Even Lukáš Knapp, a twenty-year-old singer and the driving force behind the rock band Klub osamělých srdcí (Club of Lonely Hearts). A young man at the peak of his youthful self-confidence, who has no doubts about the correctness of his thoughts and feelings, who feels no need to compromise with the times, who wants to live in truth and despises lies, begins to slide down a spiral that spares no one and nothing. Not even the music he plays and worships. It is truly a story from a time that was not worth much, but which cost many of the young people of that time everything. It was a time that brought even rebels and free spirits, such as rock musicians undoubtedly are, to the edge of their true inner courage, but also their humanity.

Children for this movie should not be afraid and shy and they must have talent for acting. Thus the scouting is quite difficult. The most difficult is to find an actress for a main character who lost her hair after a serious illness and now has to spent the whole holiday in the countryside with a bald head resembling a knee. Although the makeup artist does his best an artificial baldness does not solve anything. From the selected little girls only the self-assertive Rosemary has the guts to let her long hair to be cut and shave off her head.

A detective micro-story, which is a study of a young policeman who, despite being overlooked by his colleagues, embarks on a new similar case of an abused girl, and thus uncovers a case that was originally closed... The young director Igor Savičevič is a recent graduate of the FAMO in Písek. The script for his film Behind the Cross was created in close pedagogical cooperation with the school and the dramaturgy of the Czech Television - but also essential was the cooperation and consultation with the Czech police, who drew the author's attention to the important way of constructing interrogations of the accused and the methods of conducting the interrogation - from a simple detective story of a kidnapping it became an interesting picture of the investigation process.

A short study of a life crisis, the journey out of its grip, and the encounters that occurred along the way. Mirek experiences one life crisis after another: his wife leaves him, his doctor informs him of a serious illness, and he loses the strength to cope with the reality of his situation. He tries various approaches, but it is only a seemingly trivial encounter with a fisherman that causes a shift in his view of the world and he regains his original confidence.
