On 25 April 1605, the knight Milota was killed by the royal armourers while escaping from the castle of Temice. However, the robbed treasures were not found in his possession. Almost 400 years later, Jindra, Tomas and eighteen-year-old Alena spend their holidays at the castle with their grandfather, the castellan. The castle needs repairs, but there is no money for them. Tomas and Jindra decide to find Milot's treasure, which could help the castle. The visitors are guided by Alena and two temporary workers, Roman and Petr. The story of the black Christmas comedy Doblba! takes place in the extended Muk family. The main character is Karel Muk, a simple man with simple dreams, living a somewhat stereotypical married life with Tereza, the stepmother of Karel's daughter Valinka. In the words of the script: ... Karel worked for many years as a cemetery caretaker and liked to say: "Only death is certain," but he never admitted that it could affect him in any way. There wasn't much to praise him for. His brother Robert Muk, on the other hand, is a confident and practical businessman, and the youngest, Pavel, seems unable to decide whether to find meaning in life in protecting the Šumava forests or in erotic games with secretaries. One day, shortly before Christmas, the Muk family receives an unexpected inheritance.

And it is precisely how dangerous it is to blindly believe dubious interpreters of the stars that is the subject of the fairy tale The Star of Life. An old duke calls upon the renowned astrologer, Master Vecchio, to be the tutor of his daughter Drahomíra. The power-hungry astrologer convinces the duke, with the help of false horoscopes, that if he does not give him his daughter's hand in marriage, he will perish in battle. Drahomíra, faithful to her childhood love for the hunter Ondřej, does not believe the master, and so the devious Vecchio sets a trap for her...

This is how the peculiar travel agency Český ráj, built on the ingenious idea of not taking poor Czech tourists abroad, but on the contrary, rich foreigners to Bohemia, sees the light of day. Thanks to a quirky advertising campaign, a motley mix of French people actually manage to board a bus in Paris and set off. But the Karafiats' entrepreneurial worries are just beginning.

A romantic fairy tale about faithful love and how difficult it is to fulfill it. "I have never seen two sisters who love each other so much," sighs King Stephen when he discovers his one true love, the orphaned knight's daughter Anička, in an old fortress in the woods where he wanders while hunting. And indeed, Katka stands faithfully by her stepsister's side, even though fate, thanks to her stepmother's curse, prepares the most difficult trials that a young, beautiful girl can encounter. And so, in the final song, the fairy queen can sing not only to the lovers from the fairy tale, but also to all of us: "Every love overcomes evil, every love interprets God, the flower that stands alone withers, so I have love for you..."
