The boaters still want to continue their journey. Tom therefore declares a state of shipwreck, and everyone gathers together the remaining money and supplies. When some of the money is lost, suspicion falls on the gypsies, whom the boaters have met again. However, it soon turns out that the thief is someone from the group. An eye for an eye - this is the title of a love comedy based on Dekameron, which was adapted for television in 1991 by writer and director Zdeněk Zelenka. He made a hilarious story in which love and infidelity have the main say, and in which a possible tragedy is sparked by wisdom, wit and good will.

Gabriela Preissová wrote her two most famous dramas, Gazdina roba and Její pastorkyňa, when she was not yet thirty. Both were set to music and became famous. The first opera, entitled Eva, was written by J. B. Foerster, and the second by Leoš Janáček. The fame of Janáček's work greatly overshadowed the original. On the other hand, "Gazdina roba," the author's debut work, is still performed on Czech stages, regardless of the era. That is how powerful and impressive this drama is. The production by director Zdeněk Kaloč premiered at the Vinohrady Theater in May 1992. Dagmar Veškrnová endowed the title role of Eva the seamstress with warmth, temperament, pride, and tragic shadows.

The revue about the life of Karel Hašler and his songs was written on commission by the Vinohrady Theater's most frequently performed original author, Pavel Kohout. It premiered in October 2014 and remains one of the most popular titles in the repertoire. That is why this revue was chosen as the gala performance for the theater's 110th anniversary.
