In the movie, the characters face new questions and challenges in an original story that celebrates each of their individual passions and preferences. A chance encounter with openly gay college student Igarashi Daichi begins to shift 52-year-old Okita Makoto’s outdated “Showa-era mindset” toward a more modern Reiwa-era perspective. His wife Mika, a devoted fan of the boy group “RANDOM,” has recently gone from working part-time at “QUQU Bento” to becoming a full-time employee at the company’s headquarters.
