It's very human and nice story about lofty princess (her father is amiable but incapable - unforgettable performance of S. Neumann) and good, nice, kind and well-principled young king (prince) who tries to make tender her calm heart to get married with her. After being refused (she's very capricious), he conclude to make her better. He start to work as a gardener at her castle (in secret) and successively bring she to her senses...The story continues when already reformed princess and the young king (she learn about his real identity later) have to take refuge from troops, that princess father (old king) has sent (of course he took a bad and mean counsellors advice). They have to take shelter by several ordinary and poor families, which are always very friendly and give them a help... Of course the tale has happy end.

A comedy based on the novel of Jaroslav Hašek's The Good Soldier Svejk happens during the World War I. I Dutifully Report: In the introduction to the second part of the film adaptation of Hašek's novel The Good Soldier Švějk presents his main character Josef Švejk. With the distinctive traditional Czech cartoon character of a soldier Svejk, this time you meet on the way to the front and eventually right in the firing line. You can look at his famous train events, and also probably the most famous episode of the novel, Švejk's Budějovice anabasis. Don't miss the scene with the secretly bought cognac, the episode with Svejk as a fake Russian prisoner of war, including the court scene, and the scene in which lieutenant Dub is caught in a brothel. Despite the criticism, Steklý's adaptation is undoubtedly the most famous and memorable at present.

A water sprite settled in a mountain stream. He stops the water and catches fish. So the frightened villagers try to persuade him to move to the Jizera River, where there is plenty of water. But in vain! The water sprite won't even listen—the Jizera River is far away, he would have to walk there on dry land, and that would destroy the little green man. The water in the stream has dried up, and he cannot walk on dry land. But if they built a higher dam to raise the water level in the stream, he would swim away today and even pay them... Honza is a clever young man and a strong man who is not afraid of anything. Despite this, he cannot find friends in his village, and even the girls are just laughing at him. That is why he prefers to go out into the world to try his luck. He is not scared by the hastrman, he overcomes even the fear of the devils in the castle and frees the beautiful princess, whom he marries. The fearless Honza is only truly scared when the princess gets lost in the forest. When he finds her again, he is richer for the experience that losing a loved one is the worst thing that can happen to a person in the world.

The hero of the story is the writer Vladimír Tůma, who is invited to spend a month studying in a neighbouring country. There, the foreign office assigns him a guide, Irena Stepowska. Master armourer Tomás has young wife Alena, of whom he is very jealous. One day the ruler of town sees Alena and decides to win her over for himself. To get a free hand for his love affairs, he sends Master Tomás to acquire more skills in Flanders. Jealous husband does not know how to secure fidelity of his beautiful wife while he is away, and finally accepts aid of the devil, to whom he signs his soul as a reward. Devil in the disguise of Master Ondrej works in Tomás's workshop and protects Alena against various courtiers and the ruler of town. But finally he falls in love with Alena himself and becomes her lover.
