Ratih is an innocent and honest village woman. She is married to Hartomo, who considers her not a woman of his choice, as he married her at the request of his mother. Hartomo leaves for Jakarta to look for a new life while distancing himself from Ratih. Ratih and her mother-in-law follow him to Jakarta. Hartomo goes on an adventure with several women that he likes. Eventually, he is ready to marry the woman of his choice. On the other hand, Ratih has gone through soul searching and becomes a wise woman. This search leads to their meeting in a cramped house in a village area of Jakarta. Ratih has to choose either to return to Hartomo or accept Mulyono who sincerely loves her. With an intelligent reason, Ratih chooses Hartomo.

She wants to give a child as a substitute to her parents. Pance is willing to do it. However, this event leads her parents to find out her real condition. Ria’s grandfather encourages the marriage. Ria faces her death with fortitude. Her son is born safely, while she herself cannot survive.

Since the party, Wendy has been close to Jefry, who recently moved to Jakarta from Sukabumi with his sister, Nia. Nia also has a new partner, a young entrepreneur who likes young leaves. Jefry and Nia are not swept away by the association of the capital. The proof is, Jeffry refuses Wendy's invitation to have sex, despite losing the girl. Likewise Nia, he managed to refuse and thwart his new girlfriend's attempt to fuck him.

Agnes appears to be out of control. Her father is seldom at home while her stepmother is afraid of her. At school, she dares to confront teachers whom she considers as no good. A young teacher, Wing Ganda, tries to understand her and shows her how to use her talent. His effort is fruitful but Agnes falls in love with him. Wing tries to avoid her. When another young man attempts to approach Agnes, she makes a fool out of him. Agnes has to deal with the fact that she cannot conquer everything. Wing is unconquerable and her stepmother secretly cares about her very much. This was one of the more insightful teenage films that understood teenage psychology and was also optmistic in a realistic way.

Finally, Atik believes him, especially when she finds that Neni is going to be married to the director.
