A BAFTA award nominated feature taking a light-hearted look at a sleepy Inuit hunter, Kumak. An Inuit legend about a hunter who is too sleepy to hunt, told with puppets. Despite all efforts to change him he remains sleepy until the day when, following a great adventure, he attains success as a hunter. But then he foolishly tells the secret of his success to his nagging wife.

Animated from chalk drawings by artist Alma Duncan and filmed by photographer Audrey MacLaren, the short film is about the exchange of goods over the American/Canadian border and the relationship forged and fostered by two trading nations sharing one very long border.

Presents a romantic story with disembodied dancing shoes. A pair of bright tan oxfords meets a pert, red pair of pumps; they are attracted, but are intruded upon by a villainous pair of sleek pointed shoes, until a stalwart pair of cowboy boots and a sprightly pair of shiny high button shoes intervene.
