Slow Blink
A camera is locked upon a dancers face, framed in a perpetual and intimate close-up. The film gives us license to stare, to invest, and spend time gazing at a face, and we feel it, funnily enough, in our bodies. This film was made with over 300 still photographs taken with a Holga Camera, and 8 rolls of black and white Super 8 film.

EarthWorm (2024)
Sean’s mission on Earth is to help humans live forever by eradicating useless states of emotion and instinct. However, confronted with "Earth’s pointless gravity", Sean’s body weakens. He seeks the help of a domesticated horse, who introduces him to poetry. Undaunted, he continues to collect samples from Earth: animals, worms, and the very children who have befriended him.

Malody (2012)
Set inside a roadside diner, a sick woman meets herself as a little girl in the reflection of a mirror. The diner 'set' is built within a large wooden wheel and is literally rolled through a studio. As the world turns upside down, the changing gravitational pull creates chaos and sets off a fateful chain of events.

A Temporary Arrangement (1995)
A Temporary Arrangement began as a simple experiment: to study the human form suspended in water, floating down a river. We made a 12 foot camera tower lashed to two canoes. However, during the filming, individual dramas unfolded as each person had to confront their ability, or inability, to relinquish control to the flowing river. A narrative unfolded as I witnessed friends and family coming to terms with this natural force.
