It was winter, late January 1945. A group of German soldiers arrived in Loučka, a small Wallachian village near the Slovak border, with a clear mission. To suppress the partisan resistance in the Vizovice Hills and control the strategic crossroads where Loučka is located. However, they failed to achieve either goal.
