Being two improvisations starting from the same pre-fixed coordinates – constant and pseudo-periodic arches and blows – "Maedeh" and "Mina" were recorded in a homemade fashion and later mixed by Bruno Cunha, and filmed by Xavier Braun in mid-2022, in the same period as the recording of "Quiprocó" (2023), set of compositions by Kino Lopes.

André Togni uses his double instrument, a percussion set together with a grand piano, while Kino Lopes (percussion) and Victor Rodrigues (guitar) operate as his resonators, further expanding the spectrum at play. Chumbo is the second collaboration between Bruno Cunha, Xavier Braun and Kino Lopes, following "A aranha tem uma mosca dentro da cabeça". The project starts off from the ruins of the construction started in 1973 by Novacap that would accommodate the transfer of the "Faculdade da Guerra" (War College) - formally named "Escola Superior de Guerra" (Superior School of War) - from Rio de Janeiro to Brasília. The new unit was intended to introduce the War College into the academic sphere of Distrito Federal by installing it around the University of Brasília. In terms of sound, the edition starts with the disintegration of a guitar. Production of the music label Dobradiça Enferrujada Discos.

“To understand electrical wirings" is the recording of two improvisations by Luiz Rocha (clarinet), André Togni (drums), Kino Lopes (percussion), and Mathias Durand (voice, guitar, electronics), taking place completely in the dark, with a single light source coming from a flashlight fixed above the camera, whose curious look is led by Xavier Braun. For the second improvisation, this camera has all its settings misadjusted. In the editing stage, Braun takes advantage of the plasticity provided by the light saturation to distort the image, as well as with histograms that overlap the recording, which totaled 78 minutes. "Always Half Way There" was a concert by Daniel Pitta and Kino Lopes held at Alfinete Galeria at the end of 2022, which featured the artist Ralph Gehre, whose works were in display as part of the painter's solo exhibition. Alongside Pitta's soprano and Lopes' percussion set, Gehre recites Beckett's poem "what is the word".

While musicians proceed to construct parts that will only come together as pieces in the editing room, Xavier Braun captures this process which takes registration as material in a mimetic fashion - a documentary that turns to the generation of junks that constantly dissipate their crystallization into a whole, bringing forth a combinatorial logic, an eternal game of divisions, sums, and repositionings. Musical composition being guided by the principle of montage and editing centralized in the amplification and systematization of the gesture, QUIPROCÓ has at its core the thread that traverses both the making of both cinema and music: the space of memory formed through the succession and juxtaposition of things in time.
