Peter Gabriel: Back to Front (2014)
This spectacular live concert, filmed at London’s O2 using the latest Ultra High Definition 4K technology by renowned director Hamish Hamilton, captures Peter Gabriel’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of his landmark album “So”. To mark the event Gabriel reunited his original “So” touring band from 1986/87 – Tony Levin, David Rhodes, David Sancious and Manu Katché - and for the very first time fans saw them play the multi-platinum selling album in its entirety. But the concert is much more than just a nostalgic trip down memory lane; delivering performances of new and even unfinished material alongside acoustic re-workings and a plentiful supply of classic favourites, broken down into three sections. What Peter calls “the starter, the savoury course and the dessert”.

Candy Dulfer - Live At Montreux (2002)
Call it jazz, funk, soul, what you will the essence of music is communication between an artist and their audience. So when Candy Dulfer, the queen of the alto sax, invites the crowd at the 2002 Montreux Jazz Festival to "invade my personal space" and approach the stage, the message is clear it's going to be an intimate evening. A boisterous one at times, too, as the Stravinsky Auditorium is transformed into an after-hours club where the music and dancing just doesn't stop.

Miles Davis with Quincy Jones and the Gil Evans Orchestra Live at Montreux 1991 (2013)
This concert from July 8th, 1991 was the last of Miles Davis many appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival and took place only a few months before his death. Despite a defiant never look back philosophy, Miles was persuaded by Quincy Jones and Claude Nobs to take part in this tribute to his great friend Gil Evans, who had passed away in 1988. This truly unique concert was an historical event and a musical triumph, thankfully captured here for posterity. Miles Davis was a giant of 20th century music and this concert is as much a tribute to him as it is to the late Gil Evans.
