MTV na Estrada: Mamonas Assassinas is a documentary by Mamonas Assassinas, shown by MTV Brasil in 1996. It was released on VHS in 1996 and re-released on DVD in 2003. It follows the group in several shows held throughout Brazil in 1995, where there are records of the band's visit to Porto Alegre and Florianópolis, and excerpts from the respective shows, as well as interviews with the members.

Marina finally returned to prominence with the release of 2003's Acústico MTV (the Brazilian equivalent of the MTV Unplugged series), which spawned two top 10 hit singles (the new track "Sugar" and a reworked version of her 1984 hit "Fullgas") and became her best selling album in over a decade. The album features special participations from musicians such as the Chilean Victor Astorga (the first English horn soloist with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra), Cameroonian bassist and singer Richard Bona, Mexican singer Julieta Venegas, harpist Cristina Braga, the rapper Gog, and drummer Iggor Cavalera (ex-member of Sepultura). The DVD includes bonus material, plus making-of scenes, reviews, testimonials about the project, the guests and also footage of the 2006 World Cup, since the performance was recorded concurrently with it.

Acústico MTV é um álbum ao vivo da banda brasileira de rock Legião Urbana, lançado em 1999. No Brasil foram vendidos mais de 1 milhão de cópias e sendo premiado com Disco de Diamante pela ABPD.[1] Foi o segundo programa da série Acústico MTV no Brasil, o primeiro havia sido com a banda carioca Barão Vermelho. O show foi gravado na antiga boate Hippodromo, em São Paulo, no dia 28 de Janeiro de 1992. A banda aceitou o convite da emissora para gravar o programa, ao invés de preparar um videoclipe para a divulgação do então novo álbum, V. O show ainda destaca-se por ser o Acústico com maior simplicidade instrumental, por ser tocado com apenas dois violões e percussão.

Acústico MTV spans Gal Costa's career very thoroughly. What is very different here is the presentation of the material. Backed up by a lush orchestra (the Petrobrás Pró Música Orchestra), some of Gal's old hits have a beautiful new sound. Even some of her early songs, such as "Baby" and "Não Identificado," are more subdued. As a whole, the CD does show a more mature and secure performer. As added bonuses, Gal invites a few guests to sing with her. Having introduced Luiz Melodia to Brazil, Gal brings him back in "Pérola Negra," one great moment in the CD. Continuing the list of guests, Gal then introduces a new name in 1997: Zeca Baleiro. Their duet in "A Flor da Pele" is hauntingly beautiful and the most beautiful track in Acústico MTV. Targeting the younger MTV crowd, two names from Brazilian rock lend their voices in two additional duets.
