The death of the Kimbrough family matriarch affects the three male survivors of the clan. Widower Easy tries to reconnect with his old flame, Marg. Eldest son and struggling musician Guy moves back to town, feeling guilty that he missed the funeral. Iconic makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin was one of the most in-demand makeup artists in the world in the 1980s and '90s and died mysteriously in 2002. Aucoin knew from an early age that the world of makeup was his calling, and his life and work are recalled through interviews with some of his famous clients, including Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.

It explores Vivien Leigh’s struggle with bipolar disorder in the 1960s, as she prepares to lead the Broadway production of John Gielgud’s Chekhov adaptation of “Ivanov.” Joseph Penn, WWII veteran and blue-collar florist encounters Leigh on a delivery. At the same time, the star attends a local psychiatric facility for electroconvulsive therapy. Amidst the backdrop of madness, Leigh and Penn become each other’s sources of truth, beauty, and love.
