Apollo 9: Spider Takes Flight (2005)
On the road to the moon, the mission of Apollo 9 stands as an important gateway in experience and procedures - leading directly to the confidence gained to place a man on the moon less than a half a year later. The first manned mission of the CSM and LM together, astronauts left the safety of the command module and separated in a craft not able to return to Earth. Working through rendezvous and docking procedures, including burn procedures which would later be used to help Apollo 13 return to Earth, the voyage of Apollo 9 was a spectacular achievement in the history of spaceflight.

"Houston, we've had a problem." Apollo 13 has become known as “a successful failure” that saw a safe return of the crew in spite of a catastrophic explosion in the middle of their lunar journey. Apollo 16: Journey to Descartes (2005)
The fifth successful lunar landing mission, Apollo 16 was the second of NASA’s “J” lunar missions. With extended lunar stay times and the greater mobility afforded by the lunar rover, the final three Apollo lunar landing missions greatly expanded man’s first program of lunar exploration. John Young, Charlie Duke, and Ken Mattingly executed a spectacular mission to the Descartes highlands. The landing site lies in the central lunar highlands in hilly, grooved and furrowed lurain. The mission was the first to a lunar highlands area – quite different from any location previously visited. Young and Duke explored the site during 3 EVAs, while Mattingly conducted an extensive program of scientific observation from lunar orbit.

Apollo 15: Man Must Explore (2003)
In July and early August of 1971, NASA embarked on an ambitious and challenging lunar mission - the journey of Apollo 15 to the Hadley-Apennine region.The first of the "J" lunar missions, Apollo 15 took the first Lunar Rover to the surface, allowing the crew to explore the beautiful region of Mt. Apollo 12: Ocean of Storms (2005)
Apollo 12 was the second lunar landing mission, coming just 4 months after the triumph of Apollo 11. Designed to exercise a pinpoint landing and more robust exploration of the area, the Apollo 12 mission set down in the Ocean of Storms about 200 meters from the Surveyor III probe, which landed in April, 1967. Featuring the jovial crew of Pete Conrad, Dick Gordon and Alan Bean, the Apollo 12 mission launched into a thunderstorm and was struck by lightning shortly after liftoff. Despite concern for the health of the spacecraft, Apollo 12 was checked out in Earth orbit and proceeded on a successful mission and exploration of the moon.

Apollo 10: The Dress Rehearsal (2004)
The mission of Apollo 10 sent astronauts Stafford, Cernan and Young, veterans all, on a dress rehearsal for the lunar landing. Except for the final descent, the mission would work out all the steps necessary for the Apollo 11 mission just two months later. Just the second time men had flown to the vicinity of the moon, the mission stands as an achievement in its own right.

Apollo Soyuz Mission Overview & Space Shuttle Mission Profile (1978)
Produced by NASA contractor Rockwell International, this circa 1978 film was made shortly before the successful Apollo-Soyuz space mission. It is followed by a second film SPACESHIP EARTH showing on-going work on the new Space Shuttle. APOLLO-SOYUZ was created prior to the actual mission, and uses footage from prior Apollo missions and concept art. The film also shows the construction and assembly process for the Apollo side of the mission with Deke Slaton and crew shown. The docking module is shown at 1:52 and again at 2:43 when it was displayed at the 1973 Paris Air Show.

Challenger (2006)
