In the darkness of the tunnel, he rises, crosses over to her seat and the two share a willing embrace and kiss. The train steams out of the tunnel toward us and past us. As is customary in early sporting films, only a small proportion of the match is captured, due to the technical limitations of the time. The match ended in a 3-3 draw.
