On this night the relationship between Miss Julie and Jean escalates rapidly to feelings of love and is subsequently consummated. Over the course of the play Miss Julie and Jean battle until Jean convinces her that the only way to escape her predicament is to commit suicide.

Inferno (2008)
Dante's 'La Divina Commedia' is a poem in three parts about a journey to hell, purgatory and finally, paradise. Romeo Castellucci created his own free adaptation on the gigantic stage of the Cour d'Honneur in Avignon, in the palace where the first French pope, Clement V, resided. The pope allows Dante to descend into the inferno. We are confronted with man's confusion, the fragmentation of the community and the darkness of art.

Because in the end, there is no question here of being straight or being gay, but of loving and being loved! Misunderstandings, ambiguous reports, revelations and twists follow one another in this very current comedy of manners with a frantic pace!

L'île des esclaves (2006)
Shipwrecked by a storm on Slave Island, the survivors are forced, according to the law of this Republic, to exchange their status: from master, Iphicrates becomes the slave of his slave Arlequin, and Euphrosin, from mistress, becomes the slave of her slave Cléanthis. But this exchange merely replaces oppression based on custom and tradition with oppression based on resentment and revenge. Only a transformation of hearts can make inequality of rank acceptable and just by making everyone recognize the equality of souls. This transformation is the work of Arlequin, who forgives his master, returns his power to him, and whose generosity is contagious.
