Hedd Wyn (1992)
'Hedd Wyn' is a 1992 Welsh anti-war biopic. Ellis Humphrey Evans, a farmer's son and poet living at Trawsfynydd in the Meirionydd countryside of upland Wales, competes for the most coveted prize of all in Welsh Poetry - that of the chair of the National Eisteddfod, which in August 1917 was due to be held in Birkenhead (one of the rare occasions when it was held in England). After submitting his entry, under his bardic name "Hedd Wyn" ("Blessed Peace") Evans later departs from Meirionydd by train to join the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in Liverpool, despite his initial misgivings about the war. Ellis is sent to fight in the trenches of Flanders. 'Hedd Wyn' was the first Welsh-language film to be nominated for an Oscar.

The Late Great Planet Earth (1978)
The Late, Great Planet Earth is the title of a best-selling 1970 book co-authored by Hal Lindsey and Carole C. Carlson, and first published by Zondervan. The book was adapted in 1979 into a movie. The Late, Great Planet Earth is a treatment of literalist, premillennial, dispensational eschatology. As such, it compared end-time prophecies in the Bible with then-current events in an attempt to broadly predict future scenarios leading to the rapture of believers before the tribulation and Second Coming of Christ to establish his thousand-year (i.e. millennial) Kingdom on Earth.

Jake Chapman's Accelerate or Die! (2023)
As one of the highly provocative British art duo The Chapman Brothers, artist Jake Chapman is no stranger to challenging his audience. In this new film, he poses the question, “why is it easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism?” Perhaps the answer is ‘Accelerationism’, which emerged 50 years ago and predicted the reality we’re now living: A frenzied stasis of rapid technological advancement coupled with cultural and political stagnation. Capitalism – Accelerationism claims – is breaking down our society, our humanity, and our planet. But the only way forward is not to run from it, but to dive deeper into it. Regardless of where that takes us… As befitting for an artist as visual and extreme as Jake Chapman, this film is also part-artwork – playfully and uncompromisingly distorting the idea of how a documentary should look and feel.

He promised to return. The scriptures foretell of seven events that will herald the second coming of Jesus Christ. Two are already part of history. Some are in the making now. The rest are in the near future. "The Seven Sign"s explains the prophetic visions of the Prophet David of the Old Testament, and the Apostle John of the New. What they saw was alarming. These biblical visions could be indications of where our civilization is headed in the future. As mankind peers into the troubled future, some see the new millennium as the beginning of the end.
