Cybernetic Grandma (1963)
Trnka’s sci-fi vision of the future in which machines and robots try to substitute themselves into the most beautiful human relationships. A cybernetic robot is supposed to substitute for the loving grandmother of a little girl. The wise grandmother, however, comes back and the girl finds the warmth of her grandmother’s loving arms again. Trnka’s artistic ideas in this film can be described as both poetically fragile and dramatically cautionary.

The Hum of the Forest (1973)
A man experiences a scary night in the old forest. The trees resemble monsters that have been frozen in time, the clock faces melt as in a surreal painting and the revolving door grinds them into pieces as in an expressionist film.

Fright-Muzzles (1991)

The second is about a guest from unknown worlds who came to Earth at night. The third is about Kolobok trying to devour starving animals on its way.

Little Cousins (1988)
Within a relatively small framework this short cartoon tells us about two little cousins—a beautiful one and an ugly one—that prove that all that glitters is not gold, and even an embodied beauty can have the heart of a werewolf. From an artistic point of view, the message of the story is underlined by Salamoun's specific style.

The Age of Silence (1978)
Very hard radiography of repression, torture and the unstoppable desire to achieve freedom. The untold protest drawn by OPS, with a mouth that screams in a face that has literally sewn other parts, becomes one of the most political and adult works of Spanish animation.
