Engagement for Love (2005)

The entertainment industry is not for the faint-of-heart. Xian Tian (Alan To) is a tyrannical boss of a talent agency who demands the impossible from his stars and works his employees into the ground. Meng Tiao (Lara) is a young aspiring director who wants nothing to do with the man because of his reputation as a monster. But the two are thrown together when Zhang Jia Bao (Ambrose Hui), a Hong Kong gangster, comes to Taiwan looking for Meng Tiao to pay him back for money he lost on the Internet to her little brother. A kidnapping and an opportunity for Jia Bao to impersonate a top star named Young bring Xian Tian and Meng Tiao together in unexpected ways.
