Ridhima Pandit and Raqesh Vashisth (preceded by Karan Grover) play the female and male lead roles respectively.The plot of the series is about Rajni, a super humanoid robot, created by Shantanu Kant, who later marries her.She is also seen as a daughter-in-law trying to meet her mother-in-law’s, a classy Bengali (Pallavi Pradhan) expectations.The story mainly shows how Shaan keeps on giving excuses for Rajni's weird behaviour, how Rajni saves Shaan's family from the troubles (which are many times unintentionally created by her only),the robotic skills and powers of Rajni and the adventures that the Kant family have after the arrival of their daughter-in-law Rajni Kant.

S2E1 - Rajni Is 'Broken'
Aishwarya tries to misguide Shogata and Surili. Rajni vows to behave like an 'adarsh bahu' and follows Surili's instruction about not seeing Shaan's face by keeping her eyes closed. Dev panics when Rajni falls down the stairs. Shaan and Dev are worried about Rajni's broken arm.

Shogata and Matthew are happy to meet each other. The Kants celebrate Rajni's munh dikhaai ceremony. Surili wants to gift her necklace to Rajni. Shaan manages to hide the fact from his family that Rajni's arm is missing!

Rajni receives many gifts from the guests during her munh dikhaai ceremony. Later, she scans the gifts! Surili accuses Rajni of insulting the guests, but Shaan handles the situation. He succeeds in fixing Rajni's arm. The two manage to placate an upset Surili.

Amrish manages to pacify Surili. Gyaan and Dhyaan give a few tips to Shaan about dealing with Rajni. On the other hand, Maggi and Sharmila ask Rajni to win Shaan's trust. Under their guidance, Rajni spends the wedding night with Shaan!

S2E6 - Rajni's Silver Bowl Is Missing
Surili asks Rajni to serve kheer in the silver bowl she had given her. On not finding the bowl, Shaan asks Rajni to scan the house. Rajni spots it in Sharmila's cabinet and goes to get it from her. Sharmila throws the bowl outside. As Rajni steps out to get the bowl, a crow takes it away.

After retrieving the silver bowl from the crow's nest, Rajni serves kheer to Surili's dad. Shogata incites Rajni into telling Shaan to go to work. Rajni and Shaan pick a fight over that! Later, as an ideal bahu, Rajni takes care of Surili's friends.

Some eunuchs visit the Kants to bless the newly weds. Rajni welcomes all of them and treats them well. Surili challenges Rajni for a game of flash and ends up loosing. Rajni donates the money won to Mrs. Deewan, as a contribution for a blood donation camp.

Dev disguises as a nurse and replaces the blood in Rajni's blood bag with red wine to avoid questions. An irritated Sharmila urges Dhyaan to move out of the house. Amrish asks Dhyaan to deliver money for a deal, Rajni scans the bag and tells everyone that the bag contains only clothes.

Dev doesn't want Shogata to build a rapport with Matthew. Dhyaan feels dejected on losing Rs 50 lakh in gambling. However, Rajni decides to help him in compensating the financial loss and takes up a challenge to win.
