In the first episode of the new series, we head across the Atlantic to meet the Campbells, a British family of five who are motorhoming for the first time as they travel across America. They're quite literally learning on the job! They're thrown in at the deep end when they have to deal with a blocked loo before taking their home on wheels to the Grand Canyon, where they're blown away by the views. We join young couple Chris and Sam from Plymouth, who've packed in their jobs and are ready to take to the open road. They're busy working on their self-converted van that they've spent the last 10 months turning from an ex-minibus into their new home from home. The last job before it's completed is to finish off the roof terrace so they can finally start their European adventure! We find out why TV presenter Matt Allwright loves his campervan as he gives us a tour and takes his friend Davy canoeing on the River Thames. James is besotted with ‘Tilly' his motorhome, and he now runs an online motorhome group and loves getting people together. Today, he's hosting the first meet of the year and nerves are kicking in! Across the pond, Texan couple Dane and Deena are planning a two-year motorhoming adventure. They've never motorhomed before and will be doing it with their six children! This supersized family need a supersized vehicle! They've converted an old double-decker night bus into their dream home on wheels. It's now worth over a million pounds, and today they're setting off on their first overnight trip! Having never motorhomed before, Rachel and Richard are going to try before they buy, and they're renting a six-berth motorhome to see if this an investment worth making
