Bungee Jumping for Chemistry: To create a believable on-screen relationship, Luciane Buchanan (Rose Larkin) and Gabriel Basso (Peter Sutherland) went bungee jumping together before filming began. This unconventional bonding experience helped them develop a natural rapport.
From Beard to 'Night Agent': Gabriel Basso was initially turned down for the role of Peter Sutherland because he had a beard while filming another movie. After wrapping the film and shaving, he retaped his audition, which ultimately landed him the role.
Realism Through Training: The actors underwent intensive training to learn firearm handling, surveillance techniques, and investigative methods used by real FBI agents. This dedication to authenticity extended to set and costume design, which replicated genuine FBI office environments and field agent attire.
Vancouver's Unpredictable Weather: The crew filmed in Vancouver and faced challenging weather conditions, including hail and water. Despite the difficulties, the crew shot in beautiful and unusual locations.
Season 2 Easter Eggs: According to series creator Shawn Ryan, Season 2 contains clues and setups for Season 3. "All the clues are in Season 2 for what's set up for Season 3".
