S2E1 - Meeting Meltdown
Twelve Competitors are introduced to Meltdown by host Trevor Collins who divides the group into two teams, Fire vs. Ice. The competitors familiarize themselves with their environments at basecamp while looking for allies before heading to the Puzzle Rush Challenge. The losing team must then face the Chopping Block, where the island claims its first victim.

The 11 remaining competitors strategize amongst their respective teams before heading to the Pig Race Challenge. The losing team must weigh social dynamics versus pig riding aptitude at the Chopping Block.

Brrrr! 10 Competitors advance to play a snowy variation on an Achievement Hunter classic, Snowbound. The losing team heads back to camp and strategizes on who should be eliminated. One unlucky competitor gets to test the temperatures of the core’s lava at the chopping block.
