Carina Bergfeldt and Farah Abadi embark on a road trip through Australia to find out if it is the land of dreams. The start of the journey takes them to a ranch where they get to experience the real cowboy life. In the evening, they head to the town's rodeo where Farah gets a wake-up call when she sees the bulls fighting in the arena.

The journey through Australia continues. Carina Bergfeldt ends up in Nimbin, the most drug-liberal city in Australia, while Farah Abadi visits people searching for the meaning of life in the Hare Krishna movement. Together, Carina and Farah attend a sound healing session and then meet a man who hand-built a seven-storey temple in the middle of the rainforest.

Carina Bergfeldt and Farah Abadi's journey through Australia continues. On their way to Brisbane they run into trouble but a savior appears. Once in Brisbane, Farah meets people who have moved to the country in search of a better life, but the wounds from their home countries prove difficult to heal. Carina and Farah head for the mythical outback that covers most of the country. There they meet adventurer Charlie and his wife Deborah and together they spend the night out in the red desert under the open sky.

Carina Bergfeldt and Farah Abadi are in the middle of the Australian outback, in Alice Springs. They meet Rayleen Brown, one of Australia's most famous Indigenous chefs. At the same time, a huge motorcycle festival is taking place where people have been driving for days to participate. Carina and Farah head to the festival to meet car enthusiasts and check out Australia's national hairstyle - the mullet.

Carina Bergfeldt and Farah Abadi are still in the outback in Alice Springs. They meet men who try to help young people find their way in life through boxing and old customs. Then it's time to head for the coast where they meet a young artist who has made a controversial life choice.
