Season 8

The eight season of the Indonesian reality television series Indonesian Idol is set to air on 2014. Before the seventh season begins, reportedly RCTI and FremantleMedia will finish the show and will be permanently replaced with a new show, X Factor Indonesia. However, RCTI and Fremantle decided to continue the show for the eighth season. Daniel Mananta is set to return as host. On July 2012, it was announced superstar Agnes Monica would not be returning as a judge, after two seasons, but was open to the possibility of returning as a mentor.
