Robin Hood (2025)

A modern reimagining of the classic tale. After the Norman invasion of England, Rob, a Saxon forester’s son, and Marian, a Norman lord’s daughter, fall in love and unite to fight for justice, challenge corruption, and restore peace to the land.

Newcomer Robin: Jack Patten, who plays Robin Hood, had only one previous acting credit before landing the role, making this his breakout performance. He had initially wanted to be a professional soccer player, but an injury changed his path.
Serbia as Sherwood: While the story is set in 12th-century England, the entire series was filmed in Serbia. The Serbian landscape provided versatile locations, with Fruška Gora National Park standing in for Sherwood Forest.
Sean Bean's Sheriff: Sean Bean, famous for his roles in Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, plays the Sheriff of Nottingham. The Sheriff is portrayed not just as a villain, but as a complex character—a statesman, strategist, and loving father.
Marian's Modern Twist: Lauren McQueen plays Marian, who, in this adaptation, is given a more significant role. She infiltrates the Norman courts while Robin leads the outlaws, making them equal partners in the fight for justice.
Handmade Authenticity: To ensure historical accuracy, almost everything seen on screen was handmade, from the costumes to the props. The production team was committed to using visual references from the 12th century, avoiding rentals from prop houses.
