Inspired by Austen: The series is loosely based on Jennifer Iacopelli's novel of the same name, which itself draws inspiration from Jane Austen's classic novel, Persuasion.
Filmed in Canada (and Paris!): Although set in the fictional town of Wentworth, "Finding Her Edge" was primarily filmed in Ontario, Canada, with some additional scenes shot on location in Paris, France.
Fake Romance, Real Pressure: The storyline involves Adriana and Brayden faking a romance to gain sponsorships, adding pressure and complications to their already complex relationships.
Candlelit Intimacy: Madelyn Keys revealed that a steamy scene with Olly Atkins was filmed with only candles for lighting, a camera operator, and an intimacy coordinator to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. The scene was shot as one eight-minute take, though it's broken into two separate scenes in the show.
