I Love LA (2025)

A codependent friend group navigates life and love in Los Angeles. With aspirations of becoming a talent manager, Maia is stalled out as an assistant while living with her boyfriend...until her longtime best friend and frenzied influencer Tallulah returns.

Creator Rachel Sennott drew inspiration from her own move from New York to Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic, channeling feelings of isolation and uncertainty into the show's themes. She also described the show as "'Entourage' for internet It girls," focusing on the business side of influencing.
To ensure authenticity, the showrunners incorporated specific Los Angeles Easter eggs recognizable to locals, such as the Bob Baker Marionette Theater and Jumbo's Clown Room. The costume design also reflects the diverse fashion styles found across different LA neighborhoods.
Josh Hutcherson, known for his role in The Hunger Games, plays Dylan, Maia's "sweet normie" boyfriend, bringing a grounded charm to the chaotic world around him. Sennott tapped Hutcherson to play the role of Dylan because of his ability to portray the sweet and dependable guy.
Odessa A'zion, who plays the influencer Tallulah, found it challenging to connect with her character, admitting she felt morally different from Tallulah. She had to push herself out of her comfort zone to portray Tallulah's persona.
The show's pilot episode opens with a sex scene that Rachel Sennott orchestrated, which she found to be both funny and bizarre. Sennott worked closely with the intimacy coordinator to ensure everyone was comfortable.
