Terigaki (1996)

Yuichiro Goda (Tomokazu Miura) is on a train in search of new leads in a murder investigation when he is involved in a personal injury accident. Goda tells a suspicious woman, Mihoko Sano (Yuko Tanaka), who claims to be the wife of a man who fled after a struggle on the platform, to turn herself in to the police and they exchange contact information. The next day, on his way to Osaka, he happens to run into Tatsuo (Goro Noguchi), an old friend from his high school days. Tatsuo was Mihoko's former lover. Goda visits Tatsuo's father's funeral in Osaka and takes Tatsuo out...
