One of the characters is Denys Vlasenko, a production designer from Gostomel. The war caught him one of the first. Denys took his family - his two sons and his wife - under machine gun fire, and then returned and joined the police.

One of the characters are military serviceman Kolia Serha, founder of the Cultural Forces of Ukraine, musicians Oleksandr Yarmak, Oleksandr Chemerov, and military serviceman and poet Pavlo Vyshebaba. The boys see raising the cultural level of the population in the de-occupied territories as their goal. The episode with this characters was filmed after the de-occupation of most of the Kharkiv region in 2022.

In the center of the plot of the third part of mini-series is Oleksandr Huts with the call sign "Balu" and his brothers. Oleksandr is a former entrepreneur, now an aerial scout. He and his unit, supported by artillery, destroyed dozens of units of enemy equipment.

The main character of the fourth part of series is Andrii Turkiv, a dentist and combat medic with the call sign "Turk". Works on the evacuation of fighters from scratch. His unit saved many lives. Andrii serves in the evacuation unit "Flash", with various units of the defense forces. Despite the war and active participation in it, Andriy continues to practice dentistry when he has free time between combat missions.

The main character of the fifth part is a fighter of the special unit of the 78th "Hertz" regiment with the call sign "Armor". Before the war, he worked as an IT Project Manager. From the first days of the war, "Armor" along with two of his best friends from Aitiv stood in defense of Ukraine. After the liberation of Kyiv region, they engaged in counter-subversive activities, participated in several large-scale special operations, the details of which cannot be disclosed yet. Many worked in the Zaporizhia direction, where they conducted a number of successful operations of both defensive and offensive nature.

In the sixth part of series, the plot is based on the stories of the fighters of the Kyiv TRO. These are infantry, aerial reconnaissance, drivers, medics, civilians and military. All of them united for the common goal of protecting their country.
