My Secret Identity was a Canadian television series starring Jerry O'Connell and Derek McGrath. Originally broadcast from October 9, 1988 – May 25, 1991 on CTV in Canada, the series also aired in syndication in the United States. The series won the 1989 International Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Programming for Children and Young People.

The adventures and friends Andrew meets there, prompts him to think about whether he really wants his job, or whether to assist Dr. J plant trees to help the environment instead.

Andrew discovers instant popularity and money, but in the end has to make the choice of whether it's really worth it.

But then he has an idea... the only role left open is for a female, so he grabs some of Stephanie's clothes and auditions as Andrea! Oh and he gets the part. Things seem messy when Alana (the actress) discovers that there is an Andrew as well as an Andrea. Although Andrew gets found out at the end, it all becomes worth it, as he finally gets his kiss!
