Viewtiful Joe is a Japanese anime series based on the video game series of the same name. Movie Land is a world where movie characters were real. There was en evil syndicate, Jado, they altered the movie contents at their own will, and they tried to rule the people in the real world by showing the modified movie to them. One day, Joe went to the theatre with his lover Silvia to watch a hero movie, Captain Blue. However, the movie ended with a tragedy no one expected. Captain Blue was helplessly beaten by the evil syndicate Jado. Then, the leader of Jado declared that they would conquer the real world, and they took Silvia into the screen. To take her back, Joe turns into a super hero to battle against them. In the world of "Movie Land", now begins the beautiful battle of Viewtiful Joe.

S1E1 - The Man Named Joe!

When taking Silvia out on a date, Joe selfishly takes Silvia out to an old superhero flick starring his idol, Captain Blue. Soon, things go awry, and Silvia is captured and taken into the movies. Joe follows Silvia in, and soon gets his V-Watch, enabling to turn into Captain Joe!

Joe chases Hulk Davidson to a strange castle where everything is upside down. Silvia tries to use the bathrom, but the toilet is on the ceiling! Joe then appears and seems to not be powerful enough to fight Hulk Davidson. But then, he remembers Captain Joe's VFX powers, and beats Hulk. However, just when things are looking up, Charles the 3rd swoops in and takes Silvia!

A biker gang passes Joe up, causing him some hassle. He finally finds a sign pointing to a town: Blue Town, which is 1.5 miles away. As he says ""Almost there..."" and walks off, the BUG that was on the sign flies off revealing the true number: 15 miles! Meanwhile, in Blue Town, the biker gangs comes in and tries to wreak havoc. But the town's self-proclaimed hero, Captain Blue Junior, steps in and fires an assault! But when a real Gedow member appears, can Joe save the day?
