Andre Van Duins Animal Crackers (1988)

Jan Wijdbeens, Van Duin's alter ego, goes in search of love between humans and animals. Wijdbeens visits several zoos where he feeds the animals, cleans the animal pens and meets the keepers. He meets the lovers of the special animals and we also get to know a new side of him when he visits them to see and hear the special stories. After a short training as a cat whisperer, Wijdbeens talks to the neighbor's cat, high-fives a Flemish giant, and meets a holistic dog healer who abounds in flowers and acupuncture needles.
