The father of the gods Zeus was a very bad one: in the form of the general Amphitryon, hungry for love, he crept to his wife Alkmene and fathered Heracles. The mother of the gods Hera came to a stepson in this way. The infant Heracles had to share the cradle with twin brother Iphicles. So did the old gods! Today the adventurous story of Heracles is continued in a very funny way: from his birth in Thebes to the first heroic deeds.
