The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour is an American variety show starring American pop-singer Cher and her husband, Sonny Bono. The show ran on CBS in the United States, when it premiered in August 1971. The show was canceled May 1974, due to the couple's divorce, though the duo would reunite in 1976 for the identically-formatted The Sonny & Cher Show, which ran until 1977.

S3E1 - Show 44 - Season Premiere
1. Sonny and Cher open the show with ""Games People Play"" and banter about Sonny having performed this summer at the White House for the President of the United States, as well as making a dramatic guest appearance on Marcus Welby with Robert Young. In comedy blackouts, a couple (Sonny and Cher) arrive at the front porch of the lady's home after an evening out; and Sonny gets to meet Miss USA and Miss Universe.
2. ""Lady Luck"" -- A disgruntled suitor (Chuck) complains to his companion (Cher) about always having to meet her in secluded places; a married woman (Cher) decides to enter into an adulterous affair with a man she met at the train station (Chuck); and a depressed man sitting at a bar (Sonny) tells why he thinks he's a jinx to anyone who comes near him.
3. ""At the Launderette"" -- Obnoxious housewife Laverne (Cher) offers fashion advice to frumpy friend Olivia (regular Teri Garr) and airs her dirty laundry about husband Harry.

1. Sonny and Cher open the show with ""I Couldn't Live Without Your Love"" and banter about Sonny having his family traced. In comedy blackouts, the chief undercover spy for the Confederacy (Cher) leaves home on a dangerous assignment deep behind enemy lines; and reporter Barbara Nauseous (Cher) interviews Telly about having been approached to be a nude centerfold in Women's Lib magazine.
2. ""Lady Luck"" -- A masked stranger (Sonny) tries to rescue Cher from the evil Count of Los Angeles (Danny); an elderly woman (Cher) approaches two men in the park (Sonny and Telly), hoping she might get one of them to walk her dog; and a distressed man (Telly) gets even more bad news from his jinxed wife (Cher).
3. ""Sonny's Pizza Parlor"" -- Danny appears as the owner of the next-door pet store, who comes to the pizzeria complaining about the smell.
