John Bishop's Britain is a British television programme presented by comedian John Bishop, each program has a theme e.g. food. It features stand-up, sketches and real-life stories from celebrity guests and members of the public on that particular topic. There have been two series filmed to date. A 2011 Christmas special has been filmed and will be broadcast around the Christmas period. The show is filmed in front of an audience, where the audience are shown the interviews via video link as part of the filming. The sketches are not shown to the audience at the time of filming but Bishop's narration of the sketch is included in the filming.

John Bishop's Big Year sees John Bishop perform a structured stand-up comedy review of 2012. In front of a live studio audience, John uses his trademark humour to examine all the major talking points from the past 12 months. Using a mix of his own jokes, archive footage and some bespoke comedy sketches written and performed by sketch troupe Pappy's, John reminds the viewers of the highs and lows of 2012 before giving his unique take on each area. In this, the first of two episodes, John tackles possibly the biggest event of the year in the Olympics, as well as getting to grips with the economy.

The second and final instalment of John Bishop's comedy review of the big stories and events from 2012. Filmed in front of a live studio audience, John looks back over major talking points from the past year, in his trademark style. With a mixture of clips, sketches and of course John's own stand-up, viewers are reminded of the good, the bad and the funny from the last 12 months. In this episode John looks at the highs and lows of the royal family, from Prince Harry to the Queen's Jubilee, and he digs out some of the biggest success stories of the year.
