After crew leader Dennis gets sent to a different job in Hawaii, careless mistakes are made on the hill as John leads his crew on a dangerous project. The crew must cut down and remove all of the trees off of a slope that is 650 feet wide by 180 feet tall.

S1E3 - Meltdown on the Mountain
Way behind schedule, the team brings on a hotheaded scaler from Niagara to help save the project. After a few narrow escapes from injury and loads of brute strength later, the team ends up setting a company record of dropping 813,000 pounds of rock in two days.

S1E4 - Man vs. Boulder
As the crew faces the biggest and most dangerous slope on the project, John finds himself in hot water when he's left without an assistant, two crew members leave his project for vacation, and another just decides to take the afternoon off.
