Judge John Deed is a British legal drama television series produced by the BBC in association with One-Eyed Dog for BBC One. It was created by G.F. Newman and stars Martin Shaw as Sir John Deed, a High Court judge who tries to seek real justice in the cases before him. It also stars Jenny Seagrove as the barrister Jo Mills, frequently the object of Deed's desire. A pilot episode was broadcast on 9 January 2001, followed by the first full series on 26 November 2001. The sixth and last series concluded on 18 January 2007. The programme then went on an indefinite break after Shaw became involved in another television programme, and he and Seagrove expressed a wish for the format of the series to change before they filmed new episodes. By 2009, the series had officially been cancelled. The six series produced make it the longest-running BBC legal drama. The factual accuracy of the series is often criticised by legal professionals and journalists; many of the decisions taken by Deed are unlikely to happen in a real court. The romanticised vision of the court system created by Newman caused a judge to issue a warning to a jury not to let the series influence their view of trials—referring to an episode where Deed flouts rules when called up for jury duty. Another episode led to complaints about biased and incorrect information about the MMR vaccine, leading the BBC to ban repeats of it in its original form. All six series have been released on DVD in the UK.

My Daddy Dearest is a Filipino drama-comedy series created and written by Denoy Navarro - Punio, under the helm of Don Michael Perez and produced by GMA Network. This series headlines Ogie Alcasid in the title role, with Jolina Magdangal-Escueta and Milkcah Wynne Nacion. The series premiered on June 11, 2012 replacing Alice Bungisngis and her Wonder Walis on GMA early primetime block and June 13, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. Originally titled as Bongga Ka Tay! but was later changed to My Daddy Dearest. Inspired on Sebastián Ortega's hit telenovela, Lalola, the series centers on Bong, played by Ogie Alcasid and his daughter Daisy, played by Milkcah Wynne Nacion. They've never been so close to each other and Bong, being a single parent and has no idea on how to raise his daughter all by himself. Daisy tried her best to get her dad's attention but because of one certain wish, everything goes beyond their imagination which changes Daisy's dad into a woman. The series concluded on August 17, 2012 and replaced by Korean family drama, Smile, DongHae on its timeslot. It ran for 10 weeks with 50 episodes overall.

It is a remake of the 1980s hit drama flick, which starred Maricel Soriano, Gina Alajar and William Martinez. It is the 17th installment of Sine Novela. It was aired worldwide on GMA Pinoy TV, which started on October 12, 2009 and ended on February 19, 2010. The series is quite different from other Sine Novelas since the protagonist is an anti-hero. From May 13, 2013 until September 11, 2013 GMA Life TV airs its English-dubbed version worldwide.

It also aired worldwide, with a three-week delay on GMA Pinoy TV. Richard Gutierrez plays the superhero, Captain Barbell and his alter ego, Teng. Mundo Man Ay Magunaw is a Philippine television drama on ABS-CBN. It stars Empress Schuck, Ejay Falcon and Nikki Gil. The series is loosely based on the 1990 film starring Susan Roces, Nida Blanca, Alicia Vergel, Dante Rivero, Michael Locsin, Jennifer Sevilla, Sheryl Cruz and Romnick Sarmenta of Seiko Films in the same title. The full trailer was to be shown on January 10. The television series was supposed to be aired in the Kapamilya Gold afternoon block. However It will be aired on late morning/early noon time slot at 11:30 a.m. before Happy Yipee Yehey!. On February 6, ABS-CBN moved the show to its new time slot at 2:30 pm on Kapamilya Gold, airing after It's Showtime. The series uses some of the story sequences from the serialized version on the radio drama in the late 1980s on DZRH as anchored by Salvador Royales himself.

Maging Akin Ka Lamang or Till You Are Mine is a Philippine drama aired on GMA Network. This was the sixth installment of Sine Novela. The original movie was released in 1987. It was aired worldwide on GMA Life TV. The original movie, directed by the legendary director Lino Brocka, had four nominations and gave Lorna Tolentino another acting award for her role as Rosita Monteverde. For the remake, GMA writers wanted the series to be fit for TV: They extended the storyline by adding new elements that were never seen in the original movie and also added characters to make the story more meaningful. They agreed with VIVA Films that they will retain the original elements of the movie. Katrina Halili was the personal choice of Lorna Tolentino to reprise the latter's movie role as Rosita in the series. Due to Jennylyn Mercados pregnancy, she and boyfriend Patrick Garcia decided to drop out of the cast. Nadine Samonte and Polo Ravales were chosen as their replacement.

Analyn is a genius who was born poor and raised by her illiterate and sickly mother.
