AIBOU: Tokyo Detective Duo (2002)
Detective Ukyo Sugishita confronts crime on the basis of his own convictions. He has a partner that works for him in the Special Task Unit. For the first 7 seasons, Ukyo’s first partner is Kaoru Kameyama. He is a good-natured, hot-tempered, straightforward and somewhat scattered detective. Beginning in Season 8, Takeru Kanbe replaces Kameyama. Contrary to his predecessor, Takeru is a lanky, cool, conceited and confident detective. From Season 11 to Season 13, Ukyo’s partner is a young detective Toru Kai. Toru is a son of Deputy Director-General of The National Police Agency. But he became a detective by his own effort. Takako Mamiya is a lawyer who quits her job at a prestigious law firm and establishes her own office. Team Batista 2: General Rouge no Gaisen (2010)
General Rouge no Gaisen is a 12-episode Japanese medical drama television series broadcast in 2010, a sequel to the series Team Batista no Eikō. Atsushi Itō and Tōru Nakamura reprised their lead roles. The initial season of "Team Batista" aired on Fuji TV in late 2008 and pulled in strong ratings, leading to a follow-up last October in the special episode "Nightingale no Chinmoku." The dramas were based on the first two novels in a best-selling medical mystery series by writer Takeru Kaido. The new season is based on the third novel, General Rouge no Gaisen. Both "Team Batista no Eiko" and "General Rouge no Gaisen" have also been adapted as a feature films, starring Yuko Takeuchi and Hiroshi Abe. Fuji TV will broadcast "Team Batista 2: General Rouge no Gaisen" on Tuesdays at 10:00pm, beginning on April 6. New cast members this time include Hidetoshi Nishijima, Ai Kato and Miho Shiraishi.

Professional Killers (1972)
A shikakenin was an under-the-cover trade that undertook killing in Edo. Hanemon of Otowa, an agency that introduced laborers and maids, was also one of these. Katsugoro Iseya was a timber dealer who had come in as a client. His target was the constructions magistrate Hanno, and the Tatsumiya who sipped on the benefits. Hanemon who had a stong code towards killing, where he would only kill those who do no good to be in the world, accepts this request. Baian Fujieda, a needle doctor would carry out the killing. However, the professional killer Baian fails to bring down Tatsumiya. Hanemon then looks to another shikakenin, the ronin Sanai Nishimura for the role. Although Sanai's ability with the sword is good, he lives poorly in a tenement, and accepts this commission on the condition that it is kept a secret from his wife and child. Here, they close in on Hanno and Tatsumiya again...

Team Batista no Eikō (2008)
There exists a legendary team of surgical experts in Tojo University Hospital that specializes in the Batista procedure - one of the most difficult cardiac surgeries with the survival rate only at 60%. Ever since its formation, this team has shocked the country by having 27 consecutive post-operative successes, virtually unheard of in the medical community. They basked in the glory until three of the most recent procedures resulted in consecutive deaths on the operating table. Taguchi, a psychosomatic medicine specialist, has been entrusted with the investigation but is in over his head because of his soft nature and having to deal with skills beyond his realm of expertise. Then arrives Shiratori, a cocky Ministry of Health Labor and Welfare investigator. He not only labels Taguchi naive, but speaks with confidence that this is a murder, and the murderer is within this team of elites. As the mystery unfolds, so does the complicated affiliation between each of the seven team members.

Koshiba Seijuro is the assisstant to some influential figure whose daughter was all messed up, and who comes to the psychiatrist Koizumi Santa and asks him to counsel the daughter without her knowledge. Since Santa is a compulsive gambler he's hard up for money and takes the job even though he's queasy about the ethics. Turns out that she's the same girl he took to the hospital nine months earlier when she had passed out drunk on a roof preparing to jump. As it happens she woke up in the hospital and saw Santa's best friend Kusanagi Shunsuke (a surgeon) holding the Santa Claus hat Santa had been wearing (it was Christmas Eve), and it turns into a very complicated love triangle.
