Twilight of a Nation is a Hong Kong television series based on the events of the Taiping Rebellion and the rise and fall of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom during the late Qing Dynasty. The Shell Game (1980)
Set in 1930s Guangdong, when the gambling industry was in full bloom. One of the greatest gamblers in all of Southern China is Law Sei Hoi, who is dubbed as "Divine Eyes of the South" due to his keen eyesight, which he has used to win a great number of games. In addition to his recognition as a highly-skilled gambler, Law Sei Hoi is the owner of a number of casinos in Guangzhou. The Fearless Duo (1984)
Master Cheung gets injured after fighting with the cult leader Suen Ci. He runs away and meets his future apprentice Szeto Man Mo, as well as the government official’s daughter Lam Chor Yin. Mo is engaged to Yin but he is not devoted to her at all. Even though Yin loves him wholeheartedly, Mo deserts her on their wedding day. Soon after, Mo falls for an actress Fa Ying Fung, knowing nothing of her veil of deceit. After being hurt seriously by Fung, Mo realizes that Yin is his true love and he returns to her eventually.
