The series is based on real events. It takes us to Kythera from 1906 to 1909 and chronicles one of the largest mass murders the country has ever known. There, we meet the central figure of the story, Antonis, a peaceful shoemaker. A lovable young man, until he is unjustly slandered. The outcry of the local community forces him to leave. He makes a new start in Piraeus. Again, however, his attempt to escape falls on deaf ears. History repeats itself in the big city, filling Antonis with bitterness and anger. Now, there is only one way left for him: Revenge.

An unexpected event comes to disturb the seemingly calm life of a strong society. The tracks of a school bus are suddenly lost, one morning. Inside the bus are nine elementary school students, children of wealthy and powerful families, along with the driver and an attendant. Police investigations are moving in uncharted waters and everything shows that it has to do with a group abduction, but a young journalist unexpectedly finds himself at the center of events. Zoe is an everyday woman who lost her smile 25 years ago when her daughter passed away. She works two jobs to make ends meet while her husband and son do not contribute. One night, when a boat falls on her head, Zoe dies and has a metaphysical experience, just before the doctors bring her back to life. Two weeks later, Zoe, confused, is still living a miserable and predictable everyday life. Until an unknown man appears in front of her...
