Sunburn (1999)
Sunburn is a British television series that followed the lives of a group of British holiday reps. It was broadcast on BBC One between 16 January 1999 and 1 May 2000, running for two series of six and eight episodes respectively. The first was set and filmed in Cyprus and the second in Algarve. The cast included Michelle Collins, Rebecca Callard, Sharon Small, George Layton and Sean Maguire, with Paul Nicholas joining later. The series was created by Mike Bullen, who was interested in the behind-the-scenes lives of holiday reps after watching the docusoap Holiday Reps. Bullen wrote most of the first series but scaled back his involvement in the second; most of that series' episodes were written by Lizzie Mickery and Sally Wainwright.

Making Out (1989)
Making Out is a British television series, shown by the BBC between 1989 and 1991. The series, created by Franc Roddam, written by Debbie Horsfield, mixed comedy and drama in its portrayal of the women who worked on the factory floor at New Lyne Electronics in Manchester, tackling the personal lives of the characters as well as wider issues of recession, redundancy and retrenchment as the factory goes through various crises and take-overs. The music for the series was composed by New Order. The main theme for the show is an adaptation of the song "Vanishing Point". There is a specific mix of this song called the Making Out Mix.

The show focuses upon two brothers, Frank & Danny Kane. Their mother, Ma Kane, is the matriarch of a criminal gang in South London, helped by her son Danny. Frank has become a priest but leaves the church; he inherits The Paradise Club on the death of their mother and returns to London to try and steer Danny away from crime.

Agamemnon Anafentos and Achilles Strakkas are two 55-year-olds, former close friends and now enemies, after Agamemnon, under pressure from his parents, married Achilles' daughter, Despoina. They are both owners of two large construction companies, which compete in general but especially for a large public contract, which they fight tooth and nail to win. However, fate, which usually acts independently of people's will, will involve them in major and comical adventures, starring not only themselves but also their children: Anna and Thanasis, Achilles' children, and Themis and Andria, Agamemnon's children. The two daughters feel deceived by a young, handsome actor, who is dating both of them at the same time, and in their attempt to take revenge on him, they will get involved in new romantic adventures, with their two sons as co-stars and with consequences that could bring their fathers to the brink of a stroke.
